Once again, Adobe Flash has been finding the headline for all the wrong reasons. Yes, the Adobe Flash vulnerability resurfaced last week and this time, you cannot neglect the consequences that come tagged with it. As per the reports, the latest flaw with the Adobe Flash was that, it provides the hackers with complete control over your PC. This seems really threatening, doesn’t it? As a result, they rolled out an updated version of the security bulletin, which highlights the precautions all the pertinent users could take to avoid this flaw in addition to other information like the operating systems that were vulnerable to this flaw. Apparently, the Windows, OS X, Linux, iOS and Android were vulnerable to this security hole. Adobe literally launched updates for different scenarios, for instance, the Adobe Linux Flash Player can be updated to 11.2.202.577 to keeping this threat at bay.

Precautions

The fact that Adobe has found itself in the wrong end of the security wall several times in the past couple of years is something that cannot be left alone. There are two means to stay away from the Adobe security threat without completely uninstalling the software.

• You can also use the Firefox browser, which blocks the plug-in by default.
