VPNSecure has native apps for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV and Linux (Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora packages), plus proxy extensions for Chrome and Firefox. Routers and other devices that run OpenVPN or WireGuard can use configuration files generated in your members area. Each platform has its own page with the download link and setup steps, starting with Windows.
The Chrome and Firefox extensions route only your browser’s traffic through our HTTP proxies: they hide your IP from websites and switch location in a click, but other apps on the device are untouched. Start with WireGuard, which our apps use under the hood: it is the fastest and it reconnects quickly when your phone changes networks. Switch to OpenVPN if a network only lets traditional VPN traffic through, or when you use a router or a third-party client. Both are available on every server. Usually, yes. Since version 8.0.0 the apps fall back automatically to a TCP connection on port 443, the same port as HTTPS websites, when the normal VPN ports are blocked, so a hotel, airport or office network that filters VPN traffic rarely stops you. If a network still blocks it, turn on Stealth VPN, which disguises the VPN traffic itself. More on the features page.
